Three Reasons To Book a Mini Session // Logan Utah Family Photographer

Last week I posted three reasons booking a full photography session may be best. Read about it here. Did you know that I also offer mini sessions year round? Both come with their own set of advantages, but there may be times when one is a better fit than the other. When booking your photo session, it is important to think about what type of session is going to work for you. If getting the most bang for your buck, and a larger variety of posed and candid images are what you’re looking for, then a full session is what you need. Read on to find three reasons a mini session may be a better fit.Logan Utah Family Photography Session - Sweet Moments by Candi Photography| Logan Utah Family Photographer |Logan Utah Photographer

Three reasons to book a mini session:

  1. Mini sessions are quick and easy on the attention span. Thirty minutes of good attention may be a better fit for your family than an hour of bribery, coaxing, and complaining. I get it! A family photo shoot is not every family member’s favorite activity. If you find that a full photo session is just too much for your crew, the speed of a mini session may help keep the peace. A mini session doesn’t give us the time to slow down and relax like a full session does, but there is enough time to get the job done. Logan Utah Family Photography Session - Sweet Moments by Candi Photography| Logan Utah Family Photographer |Logan Utah PhotographerLogan Utah Family Photography Session - Sweet Moments by Candi Photography| Logan Utah Family Photographer |Logan Utah Photographer
  2. You really only want an updated family portrait. Some families aren’t interested in a slew of new photos. They really only want an updated portrait. Any other shots we get are icing on the cake. Typically a mini session allows time for a family portrait, a few smaller groupings, and individual shots of each child.Logan Utah Family Photography Session - Sweet Moments by Candi Photography| Logan Utah Family Photographer |Logan Utah Photographer
  3. You get to pick your favorite images. When your pictures are ready, I’ll send you a link to a gallery so you can view them. Your mini session comes with 20 digital images, but you’ll see many more in your gallery. This gives you the opportunity to pick the ones you like best. Can’t narrow it down to just 20, no problem! Additional images or your entire gallery are available for purchase. If you are looking for something quick and easy, a few great images, and control over which images you receive, get in touch with me to schedule your mini session. Talk to you soon!
