I met Katie and Mike at the gym. I found out shortly after that they are going to be my new neighbors! I don’t think I could ask for better. I’m so excited for them to live right up the street. I’ve warned Katie that she might have to lock her doors to prevent my kids from wandering up to her house. She assured me that she’s excited for them to come up to “Grandma Katie’s” for a treat. How sweet is that.
It was so fun to meet Mike and Katie’s girls at their photo session. They are each so beautiful and fun. I love watching personalities come to life at a photo session. Usually it’s little kids I get to be silly with. This time it was just as silly – the kids were just a bit older.
The true stars of the photo shoot were Penny and Suki.
Everybody wanted to make sure they got a shot with their favorite siblings, the dogs. I don’t blame them. Look how adorable those pups are.
When Katie and I were discussing location options for our session, she wanted somewhere with bright colorful leaves. We were a little worried that by the date we had scheduled, the leaves would be on their way out. Lucky for us, we hit them at the perfect time.
