I first met Sarah a few years ago when we were in the same Bunco group. I haven’t seen her for awhile and was so excited when she got in touch with me for newborn photos. I was looking forward to meeting her whole family and love on her new addition, Hadley.
Talk about cute kiddos! All of them were so good for their session. They were sweet, polite, and cooperative.
I loved that when it was time to go, they didn’t want to leave.
But Sarah and I needed some alone time with Baby Hadley to get her all cozy, sleepy, and ready for pictures.
As things often go with newborns, the session didn’t go as planned.
Hadley was sound asleep when she was being held and loved on by her family, but as soon as the snuggles stopped she was wide awake.
It didn’t really matter though. We rolled with the punches, snapping pictures where we could and got some of the most adorable open-eyed shots. So much personality in such a little baby.
When John got a chance to hold Hadley, he snuggled her tight and gave her plenty of kisses. It was so sweet.
I always say that four kids is a lot of kids! I’m sure Sarah felt a bit overwhelmed by it all, but she is a wonderful mother.
Congratulations Hortin Family!
