My session with the Gomm family was so much fun! Christina let me know that Liam has autism and candid photos are usually what works best for them. I could tell she was worried we wouldn’t get any good pictures and possibly hasn’t had great experiences in the past. At that moment, the challenge was on. I knew it was the perfect opportunity to work some magic.
People might think that kids who won’t sit and pose for pictures means your photo session won’t be a success. That’s not the case. It’s all about realistic expectations. Christina knew that a candid shoot would be best, so that’s what we focused on.
We giggled, laughed, and played. Liam and I had fun playing dinosaurs.
Baby sister Meredith had a blast eating rocks, picking weeds, and getting plenty of loves and kisses.
I was so excited to get home and start editing the pictures because I knew they’d be magic.
Of course we had to throw their cutest puppy in for a few photos.
When Christina messages me telling her how much she loved the photos, I was so happy. Clients who send thank you’s and tell you what they love about their photos makes it all worth it.
Thanks, Gomm Family! I can’t wait to work with you again, but before then I need to brush up on my dinosaur names!
