One of the things I love most about outdoor family photography in Northern Utah is the variety of beautiful locations available throughout Cache Valley. Whether it’s the mountain views, open fields, or beautiful sunsets, the scenery always adds something special to family portraits while allowing families to relax and simply enjoy being together.
Emily wanted a location with beautiful light for this year’s session. I knew just where we needed to go.
As a Logan, Utah family photographer, my goal is always to create a fun and stress-free experience while documenting authentic relationships. Children don’t need to sit perfectly still, and parents don’t need to worry about getting everyone to smile at the camera. The best photos often happen in between the poses, when families are simply being themselves.
Let’s be honest – family photos is probably not on the top 10 list of favorite activities for teenage boys. We spent lots of time chatting at our session to help the boys feel comfortable and relaxed. I love hearing what they’ve been up to and having them tell me all about their latest adventures!
