One of the most special parts of being a photographer is getting to follow a family’s story over the years — capturing each new chapter as it unfolds. I’ve know Mia since she was just a kid. I’ve been lucky enough to be part of so many milestones in her life. Last year, I photographed her and Kaden’s engagement session. And now, here we are — documenting the moment they became first-time parents to their sweet baby boy, Juno.
Mia and Kaden’s love for their son was written all over their faces — every gentle touch, every soft smile, every moment they just stared in awe at this tiny person they created.
We kept the session relaxed and natural, capturing Juno curled up in his blanket, his little fingers wrapped around Mom and Dad’s hands, and the way he nestled perfectly against their chests.
There’s something magical about newborn sessions — the way time seems to stand still, even just for an hour, and you get to savor these fleeting first days.
For me, this wasn’t just another session. It was the continuation of a story I’ve been honored to tell for years. From family photos to engagements, and now to the beginning of Mia and Kaden’s journey as parents, it’s a reminder of why I do what I do. These are the moments that matter most — the ones that will be treasured for a lifetime.
