Tay and Caleb // Logan Utah Family Photographer

There is something  magical about late summer in Cache Valley, Utah. For Taya and Caleb’s engagement session, we spent the evening surrounded by open fields and views of the Wellsville Mountains.

The soft golden light just before sunset wrapped everything in a warm glow, making every photograph feel timeless.

Engagement sessions are about so much more than taking beautiful pictures. They give couples a chance to slow down, spend time together, and celebrate this exciting season before the wedding day arrives.

My goal is always to create a relaxed experience where you can laugh, talk, and simply enjoy being together. Those genuine moments often become the favorite images from the session.

If you’re planning a late summer or early fall engagement session in Cache Valley, I highly recommend scheduling your photos about one to two hours before sunset. The lower sun creates soft, golden light that complements the warm tones of the grasses and highlights the stunning mountain scenery throughout Northern Utah.

Thank you and congratulations Taya and Caleb!
