I always tell my clients—it’s not about the location, it’s about the light. But… sometimes, it really is about the location.
Tony Grove in the summer is pure magic. Wildflowers everywhere, mountain peaks stretching into the sky, and the kind of light that makes everything glow. The Utah mountains really know how to show off this time of year.
The Budd Family travels over an hour every year just to come see me for their photos. It’s become our tradition. When Andrea and I were planning this year’s session, she hesitated for a minute—wondering if the long drive would be worth it. 
But after she saw her gallery, she messaged me and said: “SO glad we decided to make the drive!”
It’s easy to second-guess a location that isn’t just down the street. I get it—loading up the family, keeping everyone happy in the car, and spending extra time to get there can feel like a lot.
